Just as moving to a new home can be an exciting yet daunting event for most people, so the same can be said for moving offices. New Ground Landscapes (NGL), which has been based in Essendine, Lincolnshire for the past two years, will now be working from a new office in Barnsdale Gardens, Rutland. Barnsdale is a popular visitor attraction to visit, with more than 35 display gardens, a nursery and tea room. Barnsdale is best known as Geoff Hamilton’s garden, when he presented Gardener’s World television programme, and is now owned and run by his son Nick Hamilton.
For Richard Penfold (MD of NGL) and Adam Frost (Associate Designer) this move is like coming home as they both worked for Geoff Hamilton for ten years at Barnsdale. They say ‘it’s great to come back to a place you know so well and feels as if the circle is now complete’.
The new location will offer a great opportunity for NGL to show their work to visiting clients at Barnsdale, as well as enabling a closer working relationship with Barnsdale Gardens and enable them to work with NGL on any large projects that may need to be undertaken. In addition, Richard, Adam and Nick all believe that by closer working, a more creative and potentially exciting future can be had for all three companies.
