New Ground Landscapes has received recognition from one of the most prestigious awards in the landscaping sector.
New Ground Landscapes built the garden at Ashgate Hospice Day Centre in Chesterfield that won a BALI Award for Landscape Design Excellence for Christine Parsons of Hallam Garden Design. The award was presented to Christine Parsons at the annual British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) event on 4 December 2009.
The BALI judges said: ‘the designer has created a really excellent design that is appropriate to the site aspect and the building’s purpose. With very good hard landscape detail and beautiful planting, which is soft and in keeping with the needs of those enjoying it, this scheme improves the building and the landscape enormously; an extremely accomplished design and project implementation.’
