"We truly believe to design something well you should understand how it is built, the construction gives you your bones to the garden, creating our spaces to use and areas to plant."
Chelsea 2005
The team constructed 'The peace garden', designed by Sir Terence Conran for the Imperial War Museum at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2005. The garden commemorated the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, and was designed to be a quiet, reflective place. Many of the trees and flowers were selected for their symbolism in relation to war, peace and remembrance. The planting was white throughout, with a scattering of scarlet poppies, and was coordinated by David Stevens.
